Abby Badger is Greene County Fair queen

Abby will be a junior at Greene County High School. She is active in dance, 4-H, FFA and the Interact Club, and has been a football and basketball cheerleader. During the contest, she named winning a national dance competition as the biggest accomplishment of her life.

She is the daughter of Jen and Brent Badger of Bagley.

Fair queen candidatesOther queen contestants were (from left) Sarah Sandage, daughter of Brian and Wendy Sandage, Kasey Lane, daughter of Jennifer and Mark Miller, and Molly Hoskins, daughter of Kevin and Deb Hoskins. Sarah and Molly graduated from Greene County High School in May. Kasey will be a senior at Paton-Churdan.

United Bank of Iowa in Churdan provided cash prizes for the contest. Employees of Peoples Trust & Savings Bank and Home State Bank were judges. The contest is coordinated every year by Ann Cunningham.
